Abstract

The cornerstone of any nation or society is women. The stronger the woman's position, the nation or society will develop in the same proportion. The condition of women was very strong during the Vedic period, so our society was developed and exemplary then. Like boys, girls also had Upanayan rites and they could get education equally. Women used to participate in religious functions, they were related to the names of Grihaswamini, Adradhangini etc. Women women like Apala, Ghosha, Vishvavara, Lopamudra etc. also composed Vedic hymns. She was called Brahmavadini and Mantrasantha. Women who did teaching work were called
